    Hi Enfold Team

    My client uses FaceBook to flash posts and hereby get trafic to the website – but resently FB does not show images from the posts – just text.

    I have tried to use the FB debugging tool referred to in this forum – which raises this flag/warning:

    Inferred Property
    The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

    What does this mean and how do I fix this so we get images as well?

    I use no SEO plugin (mention this because I see it was an issue in similiar threads)

    Hey Carsten,

    Are you using a separate FB plugin to achieve this? Also, have you had any new updates to plugins that may have led to it breaking?

    Thanks for getting back so fast. No plugins of that kind and it sort out of the blue did not show images.

    I am not an FB expert, and my clients social media guy just make FB pull the info automaticly from the post url

    Any thoughts

    Hi,

    How long has the issue been occurring? If this is a fresh occurrence and the script is from Facebook, it could be an issue on their end.

    I have been looking into it with my client and it seems to be on and off now – so maybe a cache related thing?

    I think we for now can close this thread.

    Hi,

    It can be cache related but since it’s inconsistent I believe it’s more on the server issue, where your site could connect or sometimes fail to connect on facebook. I’ll be closing this thread. :)
