Mega Menus Columns not separating?
It is my understanding that if I select “this item will start a new column” then I would have side by side menu items, not on top of each other menu items?
Have I missed something?

Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.2) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
