dear kriesi-enfold-team,
I recently bought the enfold theme twice for different projects and I am generally super satisfied and happy with my choice. So, thanks for that :-)
Alltough, I came accross a major problem:
After I set up the site in it’s main structure and with a woocommerce shop on a development server, I migrated the site via “all in one WP-Migration to its destined location. Everything seemed to work just fine, I have done wp migration a couple of times with other projects (but not enfold), except the following:– in the backend the page-content doesn’t show in the AVIA Layout Architect, I just get the forever spinning wheel. Also, the control panel on the left side doesn’t stay in the visible part of the screen, it just stays on top and doesn’t move with the scrolling as it normally does. This happens with every page, I can’t access the content.
– the other strange thing ist that the products in the backend don’t show the description and short description, the font is white, therefore not visible. I can mark it with the cursor then I can see it. Strange, isn’t it?
On the frontend everything seems to work fine and everything is displayed.
In this forum I came accross some people who had similar problems, I tried every advice you were giving, uninstalling plugins, emptying the browser cache etc. …
PLEASE, esteemed kriesi-Team, can you help me with that, I am a bit in desperation, as the shop should go online on 1. Dezember due to Christmas business, so it is somehow URGENT.
I left the links, the login and password in the private content.
THANKS IN ADVANCE :-)

VictoriaNovember 28, 2017 at 12:24 pm #882632Hi Victoria,
thanks for the fast reply. Can you tell me how to access the server log? By the way, I am not a developer, just a wordpress enthusiast ;-)Greets, Limedition aka Thomas

VictoriaNovember 28, 2017 at 7:55 pm #882854Hi Victoria,
I went to the firefox debugger, which led me to a similar window as shown in the screenshot you sent me. There, when I clicked “console”, I got the following text: JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
actually, I have no idea what you want me to do with the server log, you didn’t reply to my problem in a specific way at all or explained why I shoud check the server log. So, now, I have more questions than before I consultet you… ;-) As mentioned before, I am not a developer. If I were, I would program the site from the plain ground and not use wordpress or enfold ;-)
Can you give me some constructive advice? Please?
Thanks, ThomasNovember 29, 2017 at 7:45 pm #883141Hi Thomas,
I asked you to check the server log for the text of the error. When trying to edit the front page there is a 500 server error. We need to know the reason. Above I gave you articles on where to find server log.

December 1, 2017 at 3:20 pm #883917Hi guys,
I managed to download the server logs from my provider, there are about 10, 5 error logs and another 5 php error logs. I can’t open them, could only download them. how do you want to proceed? can I send them to you or can you advise me a program?
Thanks, nice weekend :-)
December 2, 2017 at 5:24 am #884053Hi,
Why can’t you open the logs? If we don’t know what’s in them they are not much use to be honest. You can upload them to Dropbox for instance and link to them here.
Best regards,
RikardDecember 2, 2017 at 1:32 pm #884115Hi there,
you can find the dropbox – links for the logs in the private section. Sorry I couldn’t open them myself, but my provider just offers to download, and I don’t know how to open them. Just in case someone missed the memo: I am not a developer… ;-)
Ok, hope this helps, appreciate your support,
thanks :-)December 3, 2017 at 10:13 am #884288Hi,
Thanks for that. I had a look at the logs and the one in private looks to be the culprit. Seems like some of the export might have been blocked due to security issue, why that is I can’t answer unfortunately. Could you check with your host what your settings are for ModSecurity maybe?
Best regards,
Rikard -
