Hello,
I recently updated the website https://madnetwork.fr/ with a new WP installation in a subdirectory.
I had been using WPML with 3 languages : French (as main language), English and Chinese in subdirectories (ie https://madnetwork.fr/, https://madnetwork.fr/en/ and https://madnetwork.fr/zh-hans/
Everything was ok until I activated the new version by changing the root .htaccess file : now only variable urls are ok (for example https://madnetwork.fr/?lang=en ). I also noticed that custom language CSS changes in Enfold (Quick CSS field) are not correctly saved.
Can you help me save this problem ?

Hello,
I made a new installation of WP in a subdirectory : www/wp2017/, where I setup Enfold with WPML (3 languages with French as main language, English and Chinese). The frontend url were : madnetwork.fr/wp2017/ (in French), madnetwork.fr/wp2017/en/ (in English) madnetwork.fr/wp2017/zh-hans/ (in Chinese).
To go online I changed WP > Settings > General Blog
WordPress address (URL) : https://madnetwork.fr/wp2017 (unchanged)
Site address (URL) : https://madnetwork.fr (previously https://madnetwork.fr/wp2017 ).
I copied the .htaccess and index.php files in the root directory according to https://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

After that the URL with virtual country folders ( https://madnetwork.fr/en/ and https://madnetwork.fr/zh-hans/ ) stopped working and redirected to index after a while. I tried to refresh permalinks with no success, and I am now forced to use https://madnetwork.fr/?lang=en to display the English page.
I also noticed that Enfold language in admin is now Chinese by default and that quick CSS are not saved (they are OK in the database, not in the custom language CSS file ( for example /wp2017/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold_en.css)

The issue is not related to Enfold we are afraid.
You would need to hire someone who is able to help you out with your issue.
