I migrated my website from HTTP to HTTPS, installing a certificate. It works about fine.
I’m manually updating all old links from HTTP to HTTPS. OK.
What I need, is how to have as defualt HTTPS when I insert a new link.
For example if I include a link: http://www.website.xx, I get http://www.website.xx, instead of https://www-website.xx. I don’t want install a further plugin for this simple issue.
There is some default in ENFOLD to be updated, or it is a problem to solve in WORDPRESS?
Thanks
Vito
Hey tenstepit,
I’m not sure what you mean, but the theme has nothing to do with where you link to. If you manually insert a link to somewhere it won’t change automatically. If that is not what you mean then please try to explain a bit further. Also, don’t forget to change your site URL to reflect your new URL under Settings->General in WordPress.
Best regards,
Rikard
I mean only this:
If I use Enfold to define a LINK in any page, pressing control+K andI inserting, for example, http://www.xxxx.it, the system add HTTP and not HTTPS. In my case I get: http://www-xxxx.it. So I need go back and add the S.
I’ve not found where to set this choice in WordPress. L’et me know where if it exist?
Thanks
Vito
Hi Vito,
Links are based on what is set in the URL set in Settings > General, since it’s not working on your end, can you give us temporary admin access? so we can check further.
