    Dear Kriesi team,

    Smartphone (iPhone 6s / IOS 11.1): after following this thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/search-icon-overlaying-the-logo-on-mobile/ and using the suggested code it works perfect with the standard site http://www.consent.at, but when switching to english (flag) the search icon is moving to a position left where it overlays the company logo (see http://www.consent.at/en)

    Do you have a solution?

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    Hey Peter,

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
      .responsive .logo img {
        width: 57%;
      }
    }

    If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    thank you for your reply! Shrinking of the logo is a great idea – I did it with 45% and !important and worked out in Quick CSS (fyi: it does not work in my style.css)

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
     .responsive .logo img {
       width: 45%!important;
     }
    }

    BUT: if you switch to the english flag the logo is still big (iPhone 6s, IOS 11.1) – please try it!

    Please have a second look – thank you in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    #878903

    Hi,

    Try add also

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
     .en .responsive .logo img {
       width: 45%!important;
     }
    }

    and let us know if it works

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    #878905

    Hi Basilis,

    no – same bigger logo as before.

    Cheers

    Hi Peter,

    I have checked the page source and I don’t see the code you posted above. Do you have a caching plugin enabled? can you try to flush out the cache or disable the caching plugin and check.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    #879797

    Hi Nikko,
    sorry about the confusion – I took the code out after trying without change.

    Now, it is in again:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
     .en .responsive .logo img {
       width: 45%!important;
     }
    }

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    #880033

    Hi Peter,

    I’ve checked both sites (the other one is the en), the original does have the code but the en doesn’t have it. Can you give us temporary admin access? so we can check further.

    Also these codes in your Quick CSS is redundant:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
     .responsive .logo img {
       width: 45%!important;
     }}
    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
    .en .responsive .logo img {
      width: 45%!important;
    }
    }

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
     .en .responsive .logo img {
       width: 45%!important;
     }
    }

    just remove it and replace it with:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
     .responsive .logo img {
       width: 45% !important;
     }
    }

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi,

    There’s this Authentication Required popup window which I can’t go through, I tried the login details you posted but it’s not working on my end.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    I was in the car the whole day – I have double checked with an empty Chrome Browser. the credentails are working. I have not found what you have exerpereineced.
    We only hide the wp-admin page…

    I am in the office tomorrow, Thuresday – what about screen sharing? I can provide you a join.me link.

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    #881165

    Hi,

    Nikko meant the htpassword authentication. I get that too and so cannot login.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    #881171

    Hi Victoria,

    we don*t use htaccess?!?

    I sent you the url for the WordPress admin page and additionally the ftp account.

    Alternatively, I give you screen access at 13:00 today. Does that work for you?

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    #881226

    Hi Peter,

    This is what we meant with the popup box that doesn’t let us through (private content), I trying wp-admin or wp-login.php just leads to 404 page. As for ftp, tried both passive mode and active mode but still doesn’t work (screenshot in private content). I think ftp might not be needed so just the admin access on the WP dashboard would be good.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    #881239

    Hi Nikko,

    I see – no idea where the pop up comes from.

    We redirected the wp-admin page because of some login attempts.

    You can try now, please (private content)

    Let me know

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    #881262

    Hi Peter,

    Still the same, maybe you have some idea what’s the username and password to use for that popup? or it might be some plugin you just need to disable.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    #881265

    Hi Nikko,

    no additional plugin.

    Let me send you an invitation with join.me and I give you keyboard / mouse access too…

    Provide me with an email …

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    Hi Nikko,

    I checked the settings at the hoster, it could be that the folder is secured, please see the credentials below.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi,

    This is what we meant by htaccess authentication.

    Please ask your hosting provider or provide the FTP details in the private field so that we can check it.

    Hi Ismael,

    Oh, interesting, we do not see this window when we get there….

    I posted already the ftp credentials (see below) – I hope this works.

    There is another issue – in my opinion also with WPLM – or should I open a new Thread? -> I would like to remove the grey line between the logo and the next section in the main content wich works fine with Enfold – but when I switch to english – the line is still there …..
    -> FYI: I inserted the line in german back to have no optical irritation at the moment.

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    Hi,

    I had a chat with the support guys for World4you.com earlier today. They said that there is a geo- and IP-blocking installed. It seems that your IP-address (range) is affected). They suggested to use a Proxy-Server.

    Can’t you have access via a VPN with Kriesi in Vienna/Austria?

    Again, I can give you access via a join.me session but we need to schedule this.

    I hope you can work one of the solutions above.

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    Hi,

    Could you deactivate this security rule for specific countries? You can find our locations in the following page.

    #886927

    Hi Ismael,

    this is not in my hand, the security setting are from World4you.com, the Web-Hoster which is probably the largest Hoster in Austria. We have to follow their security rules.

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    Hi,

    I’m sorry but we won’t be able to help you further unless we have access to the site. Please ask your hosting provider to check the file server and look for the htaccess authentication or the .htpasswd file. I’m sure they can help you.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    I have spoken to them, please see the credentials below.

    Hi,

    It’s not working for the htaccess authentication. Please contact your hosting provider or hire a freelance developer to check the server.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
