Hi guys,
Suddenly I cannot upload and new Flaticon icons to the site. It keeps saying “the server did not respond, try reloading and try again.” I am downloading only SVG files and zipping them. I have done this before with no problem. Any idea what is going wrong? Thanks!

November 16, 2017 at 7:34 pm #877690Hi hylandgraphics,
Can you share the zip you’re trying to load and please check the server log for error. Which version of php are you running?
Best regards,
VictoriaNovember 16, 2017 at 10:03 pm #877770You can find the zip files in the media section already. I am running php 7. I was able to upload another pack during the build and suddenly now it will not let me?
November 17, 2017 at 2:55 pm #878083Hi hylandgraphics,
Are you loading them to media library or in theme options import?

VictoriaNovember 17, 2017 at 6:51 pm #878244I am using the them import option. As I said it let me upload another icon pack then stopped. I tried to add the plugin you suggested above to no avail? It say right at the import option that I can use Flaticon. Do you suggest another format than SVG?
November 17, 2017 at 7:19 pm #878262Hi hylandgraphics,
I think the import in theme options works with icons as a font, not svg, using svg is not a bad idea but probably just via media library.

VictoriaNovember 17, 2017 at 8:06 pm #878285No because I loaded them before on this project, you can see the pack I added in the import area. Why you would say use Flaticon right in the import area if it needs fonts? It make no sense? Plus I already did it and then it stopped working. I’d really love to get a resolution for this!
November 22, 2017 at 3:40 am #879992Hi,
Please make sure to download the icons as icon fonts from flaticons. You can’t use any other format aside from icon font. If you have the svg format, go to the fontello.com site then convert it to a custom icon fonts.

IsmaelNovember 28, 2017 at 9:59 pm #882884Then how was I able to upload the other icons as SVG? I have already done this and now it is not working on the same project? When I drag these to fontello they do not hold the same style. As you can see on the home page I have custom icons that were SVG. This is really confusing?
November 30, 2017 at 2:26 pm #883430Hi,
I’m not sure how you upload it before but it’s not permitted by default. The icon font manager accepts font icons only. Please get the icons again and make sure that the format is icon font, not svg.

IsmaelJanuary 14, 2018 at 9:11 pm #897179Hello,
Sorry for my Englisch.
I have a similar problem. When I upload new flaticon, the old icons are always displayed. Previously, I deleted the old ones in the Icon Manager. I used the icon-font format. I can not replace the icons. Can please help me?
