    Hi there,

    I typically update enfold via ftp but I’m thinking the dashboard update will be quicker as I’ve made minimal changes to core theme files. I know I’ll need to re-enter any changes to core files, but does the admin interface update process always preserve custom.css and quick css?

    *bump*, just a quick question so hoping someone can take a look when able – thank you! Just want to know if any risk to losing custom.css and quick css if updating in the wordpress UI or if a dashboard update always makes sure these are preserved?

    Hi,

    They should be safe on updates, but if you want to make absolutely sure then please create backups of your site. You might want to copy the CSS to a local file as well.
