    Hi,

I works on localhost and as I am trying to insert a video element, the video shows nothing but a blank area with an url:
I added this in the wordpress editor:
    [av_video src='https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fq-kNtwifFk' format='16-9' width='16' height='9']
and then the frontend looks like this:
    frontend

It would be great if anyone can help me ot here, thanks!

    Hey williamhilldawn,

Could you try to remove the s from https to see if that works? If not then please post a link to your site so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for your reply.
I removed the ‘s’ but it didn’t seem to help.
I am sorry but I said I worked on localhost so I am not able to add a link here.
I actually deactivated all the plugins but nothing chaged.
So what will you recommend under this situation? Do you think it’s due to the host environment because I am using Windows XAMPP? I enabled Apache and Mysql.

    Thanks and best regards,
    William

    Hi,

Please make sure WordPress and Enfold is updated (currently the latest version is 4.2 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ ).

    Best regards,
    Yigit
