    I have tried several times to update my Enfold theme (some sites have done it fine) one in particular keeps giving me the message

    An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.

    This site was “inherited” and the them was already there but form another account – I have updated the license info with my username & api – maybe that has something to do with it??

    Hey smarta-brett,

    The API key might be the reason as only one key is allowed per site. Don’t you have access to the API key associated with the theme on the site in question?

    I have a user key but do not know the username (thats why I tried to use mine)

    purchase key is below

    maybe you cab tell me the username?

    would that work?

    Hi,

    We can’t search for the purchase codes unfortunately, Themeforest handles all of those things. Maybe you could try contacting them first?

    As for your problem, maybe it would be easier to simply update manually via FTP instead? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
