Hallo,
im Zuge der WP-Aktualisierung habe ich heute auf einer ENFOLD-Kundenseite die Information erhalten:
“A new Version (4.2) of your Parent Theme (Enfold) is available! You are using Version 4.1.2.”
Auf meiner eigenen ENFOLD-Seite steht jedoch die folgende Meldung:
“No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.1.2)”.
Warum wird mir dort nicht auch das neueste zur Verfügung stehenden Theme (4.2) angezeigt?
Beste Grüße,
Nicoletta
Hey Nicoletta_DUS,
Did you try to click the Check Manually link in the theme options? If that doesn’t work then you could try running a plugin like this to clear WordPress transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/. If that doesn’t work either then it might not be possible to receive automatic updates on the server where you are hosting your site, and you might need to update manually via FTP: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey Ricard,
thx for information, but my WordPress gets updated automatically. But why does ENFOLD not show the new theme update like at the other page from my customer? I don’t understand that and I don’t want to install more plugins than necessary. Is there any problem with the theme?
Best regards,
Nicoletta
Hi,
You only need to run that plugin once and then you can uninstall it. WordPress updates are not fetched from the same location as our theme updates, they come from Themeforest/Envato, and it’s their system we rely on. It really has nothing to do with the theme, so we have no control over it unfortunately.
Best regards,
Rikard
