i had this issue before and you fixed it, then it happened again but it was a caching issue that time. this time i tried multiple browsers plus deleted all cache. nothing worked please help!

I checked your site using the Chrome console and there are many issues. Try to reinstall your theme – might be it was damaged.

I tried installing the theme both from ftp and wordpress and its still not working. i dont even have an old backup before the damage! please help me fix this.

Look for the “wp-content” folder. Set its permission and the directories/files inside properly. If this is not working, please get a fresh copy of the theme files from your themeforest account then override the current one manually via FTP.

Do i have to set them to 666 or give them all permissions? and why is it that this messed up my theme? nobody touched my files.

You have to set the folder to 755 and the files to 644. It messes up the theme because it can’t access the necessary resources or files. For more info regarding file permission, please contact your hosting provider.

I did go through all the folders and set the permissions. there were two folders that where not set to 755 and a couple of files. i changed them all plus looked through all the hidden files. then tried to use the settings again but it still would not work. i dont know if its because of the caching from the host, so i will give it some time and try again but if it does not work what would be the next step to check?

That fixed it, there was some weird redirects set on the .htaccess file:
