The problem is simple enough.
We use https://presspermit.com/ and have set permissions so certain users can only edit certain pages.
The problem is, even though a user has permission and access to edit a page, if Avia Builder controls the content, it will not load. The content area stays blank and we can’t edit anything. If I switch to a normal user, Avia shows up and allows editing.
There is something preventing Avia from loading even though Presspermit has given the user access to the page. It’s almost like Avia is doing some kind of permission checking itself perhaps? Or maybe it’s just a bug?
I can edit everything else on the page edit screen, all the other meta field boxes and so forth. Only the Avia content builder doesn’t show up.
If I try to add a new piece of content, such as click on the single-column button, it actually adds the row to the content area. Then if I click to edit this row, it pops up an error saying “It seems your are no longer logged in. Please reload the page and try again”.
So somehow Avia thinks I’m not logged in? I don’t know.
