When trying to upload jpg or png images in the media area with some photos I get this HTTP error. I am staying under the 32MB size requirement but some of the photos have a large resolution size. Does this matter? Can someone help me with why this is happening, please? Thanks.

    Hey bkelsey23,
Try going to the LayerSlider and look in system status, if you have errors like this please take a screenshot.

Here is the screen shot for the Layer Slider Mike. Hope you can see it as this forum is not user friendly to send photos.

This is the error I received the first time I tried to upload a image to the Enfold theme. Thanks.

What email should I use for the temporary login? The plugin is asking for this information. Thanks.

    Hi Bobbie,

You can use one of you own, or (Email address hidden if logged out) . All we need is the user and password to be able to login though, make sure that you post those details in private so that all moderators can access them. Don’t forget the login URL either :)

    Hi there,
    I’m having a similar issue…

Whenever I try to upload an image (of the correct size) I get the error message.

I have checked the LayerSlider system status and that is all good.

    Log in details below
    Thanks

Here is the picture to try the upload. Not sure if the file size is a factor but the http error message came up when I tried to upload it several times. Thanks.

    Hi Helena,

I tried uploading an image without any problems, could you upload the image you are getting errors on to for instance imgur or dropbox so that we can try it out ourselves?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi bkelsey23,

Thanks, I had no problems uploading the image you posted. Please see private. Maybe you could try a different browser to see if that helps?

    Hi hbourdillon,

I’m getting the same error on my end, please contact your hosting provider and tell them that you are getting this error when trying to upload images:

the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) - async-upload.php

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Ok which browser did you use? Firefox or Safari? Thanks.

Could it be that my photo resolution is too high because the one you uploaded had a resolution of 1200 x 600 whereas the one I was trying to upload was 6720 x 4480?

    #872785

    Hi,
It should still work, have you heard back from your host about the 500 (Internal Server Error)?

    Best regards,
    Mike
