Menu Link Broken

Hello,
I have replaced a page on my Main Menu with a new page.

The previous page was domain.com/pricing, however I needed to replace that page with a new page. To do so, I deleted the old page, and once in Trash, deleted it permanently. I then created a new page with the slug ‘pricing’, so the URL for that new page was domain.com/pricing (just like the old page that had been previously active but now deleted).

However, even though in the Menus option, it shows that the URL is domain.com/pricing, when you click on the link from the Menu, it tries to load a page http://domain.com/pricing__trashed/the-importance-of-developing-a-robust-pricing-strategy instead of the desired domain.com/pricing

I have checked the Trash and can see that it has in fact been permanently deleted, and I have even removed it from the Menu and re-inserted it.

Please let me know why this is happening and how I can fix it. Thanks.
