When using the visual composer on posts, the blog-posts widget doesn’t display any of the post content instead showing a read more link only. I would like the full post to be visible in some cases (or a segment of the post?) Why is this happening? I have the blog widget set to display Full Content.

Enfold does not support Visual Composer.
Please use ALB which is included with Enfold and let us know if that creates any issues.Thank you
Best regards,
BasilisOctober 24, 2017 at 4:24 pm #868260I’m sorry, of course I mean ALB. I just said visual composer because I was using a generic term for the feature.
October 25, 2017 at 7:59 am #868578Hi,
When using the Layout Builder for posts then you will have to add all you content manually, that applies to the excerpt field as well. If you don’t see that particular field then please check the according box under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen.

RikardOctober 26, 2017 at 2:52 pm #869218Hmm I actually didn’t know about that field. However I am not talking about an excerpt, I would just like fill posts to appear in a single view. Is this not possible if I am sing the layout builder?
Excerpts are something, but I cannot recreate the entire blog post in excerpts can I? That doesn’t seem right.
Example: http://agreeordie.com/blog/
When making my blog page I am using the widget called Blog Posts with the “Blog Content Length” set to “Full Content.” The tooltip says “Blog Content length Should the full entry be displayed or just a small excerpt?” I am specifically selecting full entry.October 29, 2017 at 5:58 pm #870147Hi,
If I understand correctly, for your blog post element, on your blog page you are using this setting
when you create each post are you using the Layout Builder or the Default editor?
If you have used the Layout Builder for the post the full post will not be displayed. The full post will be displayed when using the default editor. Instead you will need to create a custom excerpt when editing your post. If you do not see the excerpt field then click on “Screen Options” in the top right hand corner of your screen and check it to display.Best regards,
MikeNovember 2, 2017 at 12:34 am #871465So if I am using the Layout Builder I am not able to display full post in a blog layout unless I duplicate the entire post as an excerpt?
