I am working on integrating WooCommerce into a webpage using the Enfold theme. We don’t plan to sell any products on the site, but plan to use it more as a catalog for customers to view products and read more details about them.

I haven’t used WooCommerce before and can’t seem to figure out how to customize the various types of pages within a WooCommerce shop without using their Storefront theme. I want to make sure that the WooCommerce pages are the exact same style as the rest of the website.

Hopefully, you can help me figure out the best ways to customize these shop pages to use the great features of the Enfold theme.

    Thank you

    Hey msg8891,

What exactly are you looking to customise? Could you post a link to your site and point out the changes you would like to make?

    Best regards,

Looking to customize the “Equipment” page to act as a catalog of gear. We do not plan to sell or show pricing for anything on this website. I think I have gotten rid of the purchase/cart options.

At the current moment, there are only a few products in a few categories, but basically when you click “Equipment”, you should see a list of 12 main categories (ie. Audio, Fiber Optics, etc). I have this page set up using the Masonry layout, with the Categories “Product Cat” and then nothing selected. Then, when you click on the main category, I want the user to see the sub-categories, and then when you click on those, you would see the products within that sub-category. Instead, what I see now is a list of all of the products, with the categories on top.

There may be a better way within Enfold to display the products and categories in the desired way, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

Some examples of how we’d like to display it are on these websites: http://www.bexel.com/equipment-rentals/ and http://www.ver.com.

Hopefully this all makes sense, please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Please create an actual page for each category or sub category then use the “Product Grid” element. If you’re not planning to sell any products, it’s better to use portfolio items.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
