Hi,
For a customer I installed Enfold on the website. (http://chileancestral.nl).
The customer can not edit the website because the Avia Layout Editor keeps loading. (circle icon).
I do not experience this issue on my notebook. Used different browsers myself to see if one of them has same issue but all browsers works fine, good performance no issues.Customer is using Windows 10, Chrome
What I did to find out or solve this issue:
– deactivated the plugins
– advised customer to clear cache of browser
– let the custom run website in other browser . Internet Explorer so I know for sure that there are no cached items.
– asked for Internet speed, seems to be good.None of them solves the issue.
What other possibilities are there to make this work at her place?
Problem is I can not go there myself and customer has little knowledge about browser etc.
That makes it bit hard for me and for you as well.Hope you have some suggestions for me.
Thank you in advance.Best Regards,

Thanks for that. Just to be clear; the Layout Builder is working on your end but not for your customer? It’s working for me as well so it’s likely something local. Could you ask your client to reset all routers/modems etc in the network they are on?

I don’t think the problem is speed. It’s probably some sort of caching, and since your customer has cleared the browser cache then there might be caching somewhere else in the network. If none of this should work then please ask them to log into the site using an Incognito window in Chrome using another network than they are currently on. That should eliminate all caching except maybe for varnish cache on the server, though that should expire pretty quickly.

Thank you for the info.
The customer has a working situation at the moment.Using a network cable instead of WiFi solved the issue at the customers place.
Peformance is acceptable, it is not fast but reliable. After putting a network cable into her notebook the customer did reset the router as well.
That did not make a change. Because of the ‘home working’ environment, not at an office (building), that sounds logical.Thank you for very much your support!
Have nice day and regards,
