Code was added in Style.css file and not in Functions.php file. I moved it to Functions.php file. Please review your website.
If you would like to style your title, please use following selector in Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options > General Styling

.subtext {
    color: orange;
    font-size: 20px;
}
