    Hi

    I have been a happy user of the Enfold WP theme since 2014, and am now considering upgrading to the new 2017 versions. Are there any challenges concerning this upgrade, or can I just install it as a new theme over the version I’m already using? Will the site maintain its design, or will it be a complete mess?

    Sorry for the direct questions. I am not a very advanced user.

    Hi Rakkenes,

    You are currently using Enfold 3.8.5 and the latest version of Enfold is 4.1.2. Have you made any changes on theme files such as header.php, functions.php? If not, you can go ahead and update the theme to the latest version – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. After updating the theme, please go to Enfold theme options > Main Menu to adjust new menu options then flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times.
