My link includes ID=[referral] so when I enter in a button or icon box it gets parsed out and the item doesn’t appear. It thinks the [] is a shortcode I assume. Could not find the solution in the forum but I am sure it is there, can you help or point me to the solution.
Thanks!
September 26, 2017 at 6:27 pm #857076Hey energykick,
Have you attempted to disable all third party plugins to see if this issue resolves?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonSeptember 26, 2017 at 6:42 pm #857085Yes, disabled and still same issue. My link inside the Icon Box looks like this:
https://pbxexpress.3cx.com/?resellerId=%5B217331%5Dand when I insert it into the Set Manually option of the Icon Box or Button I get this:
IconBox Title
‘ linktarget=” linkelement=” font_color=” custom_title=” custom_content=” color=” custom_bg=” custom_font=” custom_border=” admin_preview_bg=”]If I remove the [] from the link it displays fine. It is somehow parsing the [] in the link as maybe a shortcode. Is there some way around that so I can use the cool Elements instead of plain links?
Thanks,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,
VictoriaSeptember 27, 2017 at 6:35 pm #857668Enclosed. Please feel free to create new page, insert Icon Box and try to use this as the hyperlink.

or anything with the [] brackets.
Thank you,
September 27, 2017 at 11:14 pm #857738Hi,
I see. Unfortunately, you can only use conventional links for those elements. Configuring theme to parse the brackets goes beyond the scope of support provided here in the forums. However if this is something you absolutely need we do offer freelance services that may be able to help you complete this task.
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonSeptember 28, 2017 at 5:11 am #857829Ok, I can live with the normal links for now. Thanks for checking.
