Looking to make the Images extend 98% of the Browser- have tried options

I have tried to use the color Section and make the background the Image- this has performance hits opening the Website.
The Fullwidth Easy Slider also seems to add performance hits to the Website.

Looking to make the Landscape Images 98% of the Browser width.
