Hi,
I was wanting a gallery that had a sortable category for the front end user and the only way I could see to doing this was by using portfolio items as the avia page builder gallery function does not appear to have this?
Anyway, with the categories and images in place and sorting nicely one issue was that if an image was clicked on it would take you to that portfolio post page, which is not what I would want.
So I added this line of code in the quick CSS .grid-entry .inner-entry { pointer-events: none; } which prevents the image being clicked and stopping portfolio page from being displayed.
What I would like at this point is for the ability to enlarge the image when clicked and then scroll through other images, much the same way you would with essential grid: https://essential.themepunch.com/even-grid-washington/
Is this possible? Or would I be better off installing Essential Grid which I would prefer not to?
Hey John,
Could you please give us a link to your website, we need more context to be able to help you.
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi,
You can remove your code and chose this setting here

Let us know if this was helpful.

Hi Victoria.
Many thanks that did the trick.
Is it possible to have it so that when you have it soret by a category that when you click on an image and it enlarges trhat the images to scroll through are only from that category? I think i might be pushing my luck here :)
Hi aussiedropbear,
No, it does not work like that, it’s just that gallery for the lightbox, the way it’s loaded originally.
Best regards,
Victoria
