Modal Popup from Icon List Item

Hi There,

I am using the Icon Lists to pop open video windows (youtube and vimeo) which are working fine when I set to “open to new window” ( you can see this at staging1.transmedia-entertainment.com )

I need to also open a html pop up (just to display a text version of the synopsis in “The Veiled” ).

Can you recommend how I can do this? I found modal-popup-box-0.1.7 which added the pop ups to the list in the Icon List!! Unfortunately, the popups themselves are not being displayed correctly (not sure if it’s a theme incompatibility or something else – the plugin says its’ experimental) …

Any suggestions or examples would be greatly appreciated.
