hello,
i updated my PHP settings on my hosting to 5.6 and went into my wordpress hosting and found the arabic home page all messed up, the menu is transparent, the burger menu is on my logo, the menu was not set so i had to reset it. some sections of the home page are not working on mobile mode, If you have a look at the english and arabic site you will see that the last 2 sections plus the footer of the home page only are not aligning properly or not being responsive anyway.
i then started working on fixing things, and found that the Enflold settings is now all messed up, which has happened before and you did fix it for me. The issue was some change in the .htaccess file. so i’m thinking that that change might have messed up my site after the PHP update.
anyway can you have a look at it for me and let me know what to do as i’m stuck
August 27, 2017 at 12:19 pm #844503I also cannot Save the settings on my enfold settings page
August 27, 2017 at 2:47 pm #844529ok so its not the PHP, i tried downgrading to 5.4 as it was before and it didn’t do anything. i tried disabling all plugins and still nothing. the Enfold settings page has just gone all crazy, its all the options in one single page, but i can’t save the changes. i also tried deleting the theme and activating another and then reinstalling it from both ftp and wordpress and still had no results. Please help.

August 27, 2017 at 4:23 pm #844536Ok, i tried to revert to an old backup and still have no fix to the issue. here are some images to the issues at hand:
1)Enfold Theme options showing up as one page and cannot save:
Arabic:

English:

Footer in all other pages:

4)How the section above looks in tablet mode and mobile mode:

If i try to set the image to equal height everything goes heads over heels, all the images sit on top of each other instead of a row (thats in desktop mode)

August 27, 2017 at 10:05 pm #844571Ok so Point 1 enfold theme options has been sorted, there was just something wrong with my cache. but the other issues are still on going.
August 28, 2017 at 8:24 am #844718Hi,
Please, avoid to post many answers in your thread before a support guy answer it. This might delay the process.
About your issues, which ones are happening?

John TorvikAugust 28, 2017 at 12:43 pm #844772Hello John,
sorry i’ve been working on it. i fixed nearly everything. the enfold menu was playing up on my chrome browser only, so i cleared the cache and that fixed that.
the other issues are all part of the same one issue. there’s something in one sections that messes up every other sections underneath them (arabic home page only). I used an old template for the home page and re created the arabic home page again, this time the section that wasn’t working got fixed, the section under that is damages (font size incorrect, not responsive, individual height option messes things up and equal height does other damages as well) plus it damages the footer as well. it was set to grid section with two half sections, and each section set to a color (you can see it on our homepage in english) i deleted this section in arabic and now everything works and the footer is back to responsive. but everytime i add this grid section everything goes wack.
I will now update all my plugins and themes, and wordpress and i’ll let you know if everything gets fixed. if you know of a solution or heard of this before please let me know.

August 28, 2017 at 3:15 pm #844840Still can’t fix it, i’ll leave it for you to see. look at the last section before the footer of the page which is two halves, one yellow and one pink. now change it to mobile view and see how it looks, it’s all squished together. now go see how it looks in the english page when in mobile view to see the difference.
The options are set exactly the same so i dont know why its doing that. and you see it damages the footer menu as well. have a look at the footer menu on the Arabic home page and then the footer menu on any other arabic page. Anything i add underneath that section gets damaged as well.
Please help.
August 31, 2017 at 5:48 am #846072Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I can see the same problem on my end, it might be that the shortcode you are using in the right column is breaking the builder. Could you try removing it to see if that helps? You could also try placing the shortcode in a code block element instead.
Best regards,
RikardAugust 31, 2017 at 7:49 am #846102Hello Rickard,
Thanks for the reply, it’s not the short code. I tried deleting everything on there and left only the grid section. If your remove the grid section the footer gets fixed. If I add a grid section or colour section it breaks it. If I only add a column it doesn’t break it, I tried setting that section with two half columns but I get a gap between them.
What else can I do to fix it?
Kind regards,
September 4, 2017 at 9:02 pm #847878Hi,
The issue is known, it is basically based on some tags that the language plugins and translations are adding.
There is something we are working to make things out.Best regards,
BasilisSeptember 5, 2017 at 10:05 am #848015Hi Basilis,
I had a feeling its WPML. So can i delete those sections now until you find a fix? or should i leave them there for you?
September 7, 2017 at 9:06 pm #849230Hi,
You should remove them.
There is not a solution right now, as WPML has changed some stuff ( for better on their view and it was for better, but we have to work out compatibility ).
We appreciate your patienceBest regards,
Basilis -
