Hi I noticed recently that on one of my sites on mobile view the burger bar menu opens fine but doesn’t shut automatically when I click any of the menu links, in fact, the menu sticks open and can not be shut unless you refresh the page.

I have tried a number of ways to narrow down the problem, by deleting custom CSS, deactivating suspect plugins etc but nothing work – if I change the desktop menu from text to icons it recreates the error I get on mobile view.

I have other sites running enfold all latest version none have this issue – but this is the only single page site using bookmarks (#services) and not links.

    Any thoughts or help appreciated.

    Hey Gemcrm,
    This solution helped others: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/mobile-menu-keep-closing/#post-767015
Otherwise, Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days ( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin! If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Ian,

There are many errors JavaScript console an the one that might be breaking things is from the contact form script.

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)

    Best regards,
    Victoria
