    Using Google Page Speed Insights, I saw a big issue we are having is server response time.

    I reached out to my host company (flywheel) and they looked into it and determined the issue is coming from Enfold.

    This is what they said: “I checked up on this and it seems the site was setting Cache-Control to must-revalidate, which was causing it not to be cached”

    They tested it (with all plugins activated) with Enfold AND TwentySeventeen, and this is what they showed: http://flywheel.link/470401393b25

    Any clue on how to fix this?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the details. You are running on old version of the theme, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.1.2) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Please make sure to have backups in case you should need to roll back.

    Updated the theme and the issue is still there. Slow server response times.

    Hi mattbrooks123,

    There plenty of caching plugins out there, you can pick the one that suits you and consider switching to php7, if you have not already.
