i often used on enfold former versions the fix from Josue:

And i can not see why – because the function itself does not change till now ( function avia_header_size() )if i do it via avia.js and a edited copy of it in child-theme it works ! but the “hook” with the Josue main.js does not work?
That way you’re technically replacing avia_header_size using a child theme.

Ismaeldoing it via edited avia.js works ! but Josue’s “hook” method to overwrite it in original avia.js not.
