    Hi Guys!

I’m converting a client’s old WP site to Enfold. There are about 100 posts give or take, and each has its own featured image already assigned. I must use the ALE so the posts match the rest of the site. I’ve used the Save Entry as Template function to create a template for posts, BUT I still need to manually assign an image, either to an image media element or to a Featured Image Slider, nearly 100 times. Is there a way to have the Featured Image Slider–or even just an image media element–just default to using the pages’ already-assigned featured images??? I know there’s a setting for Offset Number that probably would work for the Featured Image Slider. But wouldn’t the problem with that be that whoever is creating a post would need to know what the next offset number is?

I look forward to your replies!

    Thanks!

    Scott

    Hey Scott,

No, unfortunately you need to manually assign the images. Templates are just a general layout, where content is assigned manually by the editor, or automated by the import script written by a developer.

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,
    Victoria
