    Hello,

We are getting an error message when adding the Google Maps API key. Even after creating a new API key.

When I first go to the settings page to I get the error that it can not connect to Google Maps
Then when I click the check APi key button, I get an error message that it can not connect to Mailchimp.

Why am I getting an error for Mailchimp? This is from Google Maps. There is no Mailchimp on the website.

Any help you can provide would be great.

    Hi,

I replaced your API key with the one our teammate @vinay generated however there seems to be plugin conflict. Please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps. Then you can activate them one by one to find the culprit.

    Nice site by the way!

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Has this been resolved?
I am having the same problem on my website and have disabled all plugins and updated the theme but it is showing the same error.
Was on 4.1 when I noticed it today and updated to 4.2 but no luck.
Looks like a couple dozen other people have asked questions like this in the support forum but there hasn’t been a real fix that I found.

    Hi,
I would ask to login to your site to investigate, but you have posted on someone else’s thread so they would see the login. Please start a new thread with admin login in the private content area so we can take a closer look.
To answer your question, we have not had any issues with Google Maps API.

    Best regards,
    Mike
