HI please can you help me here – I have been trying all sorts of things to get google maps to work but it simply will not – also tried some solutions shown but as I am not technical I do not want to touch it – this is the error message I have and it’s been like this after many attempts to reload the avai media element / new api / delete the page etc
Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details. Thanks – it’s urgent now after about 2 weeks of my efforts

Thanks for the login details, though they don’t seem to work. Could you check and verify please?

I apologise please try these
I hope this helps
Thank you
GeorgeAugust 2, 2017 at 1:05 pm #833410Hi,
Thanks for that, login details are working now. I’m not sure why you are getting an error but the error message in the console seems to indicate that it’s not valid. Could you try to generate a new one? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/
Also, what you have put in the Google Analytics field is not correct. It should look something like this:
<script> (function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){ (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o), m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m) })(window,document,'script','https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','ga'); ga('create', 'UA-XXXXX-Y', 'auto'); ga('send', 'pageview'); </script>

August 13, 2017 at 11:39 am #838205Hi,
Sorry for the late reply due to summer holidays.
I tried to login but it did not work.
You are using Enfold 4.0.7 – With the latest version 4.1.2 you can check the validity of your google map API key in the backend when entering it. Try to update to the latest version and follow the hints given there regarding the page restrictions to the key.
Let us konw, if this helped.
Best regards,
GünterAugust 14, 2017 at 4:37 pm #838756HI Gunter
I am running 4.07 and it tells me there is no later Enfold ?
This has been going on a while now there must be a solution somewhere / somehow – at the moment I have an image running

August 15, 2017 at 3:33 pm #839346Hi georgecornelius,
You can update your theme via FTP.
Could it be that someone disabled the theme update notification or something is not working properly?
Best regards,

Did you add the site as one of the http referrers? Please review the documentation and look for the “http referrers” section ( Step 4 ).

IsmaelSeptember 1, 2017 at 7:28 am #846651OK I managed to get my issues sorted thanks to a freelancer named Ali who corrected both sites and had them up and running in less than 10 minutes – this is the first time I have been disappointed with the support from Enfold and it has made me consider using Avada next time I want another theme – thanks
