    Hi..

    I have just installed Enfold and the 2017 Demo Data however the Layerslider is missing from the main page.

    Any idea how to fix?

    Hey montyburns,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, though it seems like you don’t have any layer sliders at all in your installation. Did you try to import a demo or create a new one?

    Hi..

    Yes, I imported the 2017 demo. But i didnt realise till i had started deisgining that it was missing.

    When i went to re-import it, it said i would over write all existing work i had done so i didnt re-import.

    I am only after the layerslider for the main front page. Can this be added via ftp to a specific folder ??Can you send
    me the files ( in zip ) and let me know where i have to up load it to ??

    Hi,

    You can activate the Layer Slider, but any demos can not be imported outside our Enfold Demo Importing, as they are packaged there.

    Hi..

    Hi,
    I have tried in import the 2017 demo for layerslider from my install, but you have this error:

    The PHP ZipArchive extension is required to import .zip files

    This is probably why it didn’t install the first time, please contact your host and ask to have the PHP ZipArchive extension installed.
    Then you can import the 2017 demo I have linked in the Private Content area.
    It is true that if you re-import the whole demo it it will over-write all the current work, but using just the slider demo if not.

    Thx.. got it working

    Also im having trouble editing the footer widgets?

    When i go to apperance/widgets and click on each there is not details of what is in the theme or ability to change them like it used to

    Is there a new place to edit the footer widgets ??

    Hi Mark,

    I can’t see any problems with the widgets, I added a dot in the first widget and it seems to have worked as expected. Could you try to elaborate on the problem a bit please?
