How can I add a linkable button to my sidebar. I thought it was done by adding the shortcode to the widget, but it doesn’t seem as if shortcodes are an option anymore, unless I’m completely missing it. :)

    Hey gwinenvato,

Are you adding the shortcode to the text widget? Please provide admin info so we can log in and look into this issue further.

Hi – Thank you. So, from what I can see, there is no way to add shortcode to a text widget in the sidebar blog section.

    Hi,

Which shortcode specifically are you trying to add. If it is just a button you can add raw html to the text widget to achieve the same thing.

Yes, thank you. I want to add the button that enfold has built into their Advanced Layout Editor. There used to be a way to grab the shortcode from this editor, but I don’t see it as an option anymore. I don’t want to build a button using my own HTML. This should not be that difficult but all the solutions on this support forum seem outdated. I’m going on day 3 of trying to figure this out. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

    Hi,

You can get the shortcode by turning on debug mode. http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
