    I’ve set up live chat on a website using WP-Live Chat Support.

    The plug is working fine.

    In addition to the icon that is used to open the live chat box, i want to be able to trigger the live chat box via a link.

    The plug support’s this function using the following code, as advised by the plugin developer.
    Live Chat

    The issue is that when I add this link to the site, it keeps breaking, the link will not work and it has broken bits of the site.

    Can you help.

    Thanks for the details, though I’m not sure what URL your page is on? Also, the link you posted in your initial post seems to link to this topic, not sure what you wanted to link to?

    Hi,
    I would suggest using the link in a code block element.
    Can you set up a demo page with the link you are trying to use so we can see the link and how you are trying to use it?

    Hi. I’ve set up a page with the link set up as a code block.

    I want to be able to click on the text and trigger the live chat window to open.

    I’ve tried the link in the code block, but it didn’t work.

    Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue?
