Hi – I’m creating my WooCommerce Shop Page. When I opened the default Shop Page, it was blank. I wanted to add the heading at the top and a section on Prints (to send to an outside link) at the bottom of the page after the automated woo-commerce categories. I’ve got it in there now, but it’s at top. Is there anything I can do for this?

Thanks.July 29, 2017 at 12:59 pm #831465Hey dominiquehurley,
This vide might help you, if you’re using default shop page.
If you need further assistance please let us know.

VictoriaJuly 29, 2017 at 5:38 pm #831545Thank you Victoria – this does indeed look like what I’m looking for, but not simple at all for a non-developer. They give the web hook I need to add my content after the loop, but they say to put the code in the functions.php . That’s not the Quick CSS is it? Where can I find that please?
And once I put that in there, do I just copy and paste whatever is in Text that I have on my shop page now within ‘ ‘ at the end of the webhook?
I’m asking just in case I can figure out with you how to do this on my own without having to hire someone. Thanks.

You can find access to functions.php here, but one wrong coma and your website can break and you will need to get to this file via FTP and edit it that way, to fix the issue.
On the other hand, I am not very clear what changes you need to make to a sho page. Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?
You can also build a custom page and set it to be your default shop page.
The options are there, they vary in the skill required to accomplish, you might find just what you can do.Best regards,
VictoriaAugust 4, 2017 at 1:19 pm #834328Oh Yikes! Yes, this is too advanced for me. I’ll skip it.
Because print-on-demand of my art is done through another website, I had wanted to add a picture – button for them to click at the bottom of my Shop Page to be redirected to that other site. Putting it at the top brought my shop below the scroll line and some might miss it as it’s not immediately visible. Instead, I’ve just put a line of text at the top and an extra tab in my menu and hopefully, that will work.
Thanks!

Looks like you managed to add the text after all.

We would like to apologize for the delay. We normally respond within 24 hours but in the wake of the latest theme update, we have received more inquiries than usual. Please be patient while we go through the rest of the queue. Thank you for your understanding.

IsmaelAugust 9, 2017 at 11:06 am #836279Thanks, yes. The line of text at the top was a compromise that didn’t push the Shop too far down. It’s not the picture button I would have liked at the bottom, but it’ll do for now. Thanks. This one is closed.
