Hello,
As I now bought/purchased the Enfold 2017 July 17th – Version 4.1.2
Is there anything I have to do to be on the safe side when updating my Version Number 3.2 that I use today?
Will upgrade cause any conflict with used plugins or cause trouble with content already in place on my website?July 25, 2017 at 12:10 am #829285Hey Loining,
I would use a plugin such as this:
You can perform a full site back-up and export prior to updating and if something goes wrong simply import the created file.
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonJuly 25, 2017 at 7:30 pm #829753Thanks!
I have now been into cPanel and renamed the existing Enfold and uploaded the newest Enfold template.
I have backed up the web site, updated all the plugins and I installed the newest WordPress. When entering the wp-admin for my web, I can see it is still working on the original template.
What can I do to get the website to run Enfold latest version?July 25, 2017 at 7:47 pm #829763Hey!
Please have a backup of your old Enfold theme folder and then remove the old one, go to Appearance > Themes and activate new version :)
Cheers!
YigitJuly 25, 2017 at 9:09 pm #829799I go to Appearance > Themes
I find my child of Enfold, the Enfold template and some other templates.
Option on child is ‘Customize’ and on Enfold ‘Activate’ and ‘Live Preview’.May I lack some options because of the license type I started with?
I now bought a new license, but started with a split license…At Edit choose there is stated:

*/July 25, 2017 at 9:17 pm #829801I will still like to have a child of Enfold, only with all the bug fixes and new figures.
July 26, 2017 at 4:55 am #829917Hi,
If the child theme is already activated then you will only see the customize option.
You do not have to do anything more to activate the enfold theme.
Please go to Theme options > Update to check which version you are using.
