I have a site under construction, not public at the moment. My issue is a bit different than others who have problems with the Enfold theme contact form.
In testing the Enfold contact form I first listed my own email on my phone which is icloud – I have a free version that came with my phone, so I used it as the client is using his own icloud – but mine has very limited storage. As not all arrived I thought it could because my storage was full . I deleted everything and tried again. Not all came. Then I changed to send to the client’s email – a paid icloud account with storage. Still not all arrived. I sent him 6, all in succession about a minute apart. Different subject lines and short messages BUT ONLY 4 ARRIVED. I did this 12 hours ago or so but the missing
2 never came. Then I changed the send to email to my own Yahoo email instead of icloud- and sent 6 more to myself – and NONE have come through. I have changed it back to icloud.
WHAT I DID:
I am using my own name and same email in each of the contact fields with different subjects and messages. I sent them all from my one computer. The wordpress website is hosted through Hostgator. I am using a Chrome browser. I did not add any Plug-ins, I am using the Enfold contact form that is straight from the demo on the contact page. It is weird as most of the emails do come through – but not all of them. I get the successful send message for all. This is a business, I need all to arrive. The extra 2 messages did NOT dump into the gmail account I set up for the hosting account. Where did they go?Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

I would suspect HostGator, the mails are sent though PHP mail on your server, and the host could have filters on to block spam. But it could be that the PHP mail is over worked from everyone else on your shared server. HostGator is well known for over loading their “unlimited” servers. Sorry. Give A2hosting.com a try as a test.Best regards,
