Hi,
I am looking for a fix that makes GRIDVIEW layouts as nice as COLUMN layouts when printing.
E.g. go to the ENFOLD demo and pull up the ELEMENTS-Columns and ELEMENTS-GridView sample page, THEN look at the Print preview.
Columns, let’s say we have 1/3 , 1/3, 1/3 are nicely put under each other, sequentially. Looks great for print.
GridView with any number of colums is different: in print the columns are layouted as colums which makes them very narrow and it doesn’t look good on paper.
Is there a CSS fix I could apply? I would love to have gridview columns act exactly like regular columns in print.
Thanks,
Frank
Hey team-denali,
You will need to edit the print.css to suit your needs,
here is how to use it with a child theme: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/child-theme-using-print-css/#post-455883
here’s a sample print.css: https://gist.github.com/DevinVinson/8920321
Hope this helps, you may wish to hire a freelancer to create a custom print.css, UpWork.com is a good place to look.
Best regards,
Mike
