Hey guys,
The goal is to have the full text or summary of my blog post on the blog page however currently it only shows the thumbnail and read more button.
How do I get rid of the read more button and have it show the whole post. I’ve gone through the reading settings, Enfold blog layout, and options in the blog page with no luck.
Would you mind helping me figure this out?
Regards,
PatJune 22, 2017 at 1:43 am #811264Hey pnguevarall,
On your blog page, try setting your Blog Element to show full content in the Blog Content length option, and in each post, ensure you don’t have any “more” elements or any content in the “Excerpt” field, which is viewed by checking it in the “Screen Options” at the top of your post page. Note that the Blog Content length option is not available if you choose “Grid Layout” as your Blog Style.
Another way is to use the “Excerpt” field, which is viewed by checking it in the “Screen Options” at the top of your post page. This overrides the other settings.Best regards,

In my blog posts settings I don’t have Grid layout as the Blog Style and the Blog Content Length is set to Full Content however the problem still persist. Do you know what else could be causing this?
Will giving you my WordPress login help?

August 9, 2017 at 5:54 am #836138Hi,
The posts excerpt or content are not displaying in the blog overview page because they are created with the advance layout builder. Please specify the excerpt manually or switch to the default editor.

IsmaelAugust 9, 2017 at 5:14 pm #836507Can you be more specific please? I turned one of the blog posts to default editor and all the content is gone and it looks no different on the blog page. What does “Please specify the excerpt manually” mean?
August 10, 2017 at 10:18 am #836872Hi,
What does “Please specify the excerpt manually” mean?
Please edit one of the posts then look for the Screen Options. You should see the Excerpt option there. Enable it then you’ll be able to manually specify the excerpt of the posts.
Best regards,
