    Hello, I have taken over a website that has an old version of Enfold installed and does not have a child theme.
    I would like to install a child theme to be able to make changes and wanted to know if it would be very complicated to do it now that the web has a long time without the child theme.

    Hey cipriana,

    It depends weather the previous administrators have made any changes to any of the theme files? If not then you should be able to install the child theme and export the parent theme settings to it.

    Should I make a copy of functions.php, style.css and custom.css and added to child theme? Is that what you say?

    Hi,

    You can try that out yes, also make sure you have a backup of the whole site in case you should need to revert the update.
