    Hi,
    the excertp is not showing up in “Latest news” widget even if i select “Show title and excerrpt” in drop down.

    Here is a sample page, as you can see “Latest news” widget in the sidebar has no excerpt:

    The example above is from a clean Wp install, I just installed Enfold and demo!

    Hey aledef,

    If you use the advance layout builder for post, you need to add a custom summary in the Excerpt meta box. Go to Screen > Options then enable the Excerpt. If you don’t want to do this manually, switch to the default editor. The excerpt will be automatically taken from the default editor content.

    Hi,
    I know I need to add a custom summary in the Excerpt meta box but as I wrote before this is a clean Enfold demo.
    The demo comes with custom summary in the Excerpt already added for all posts, so I don’t need to insert it.
    It just doesn’t show up.

    Hi,
    Please ensure that the option “display title and excerpt” is chosen for the “Enfold Latest News” widget. I just tested on a new install and it works :)

    Hi,
    I updated Enfold from 4.0.2 to 4.0.7 and that solved the problem.
    Now it works.
