    Hello guys,

I’ve read multiple threads in which others have experience the message:

“couldn’t add the font because the server didn’t respond”

for their own reasons, and have tried all the proposed solutions.

My server admin tells me: “Okay, it looks like it has to do with the ZipArchive php extension not being active – or installed on the server.

For it to run, I have to change the PHP handler… which will break some other things as the one I’m using is faster and more secure than what I was using.

The thing that crosses my mind is why aren’t they using the existing routines that WordPress already uses (for example, WP updates come in a zip files and they get handled just fine).”

Any alternative? I am including admin credentials in case you need them. Please do not turn off plugins unless absolutely required as it may affect the work I am doing!

    Thanks in advance.

BTW, the upload worked OK and the file is in the Media Library. Just fails to install.

My admin changed servers to correct the issue. Please close this thread. Thank you!
