This morning I had a phonecall from a company that is using Enfold for year now. All of a sudden they had a problem.
I know Enfold very well … But this problem I can’t fix …
They have a multisite installation but when they want to do some changes in the Enfold Controlpanel they get a message that says “Saving didn’t work! Please reload the page and try again”
The weird thing is that they only get that message on their main site. On other subsites (that are translations of the main site) everything seems to work fine …
I tried it all: I disabled all plugins, installed WP again, installed Enfold again, … nothing helped. Even more: now ALL Enfold settings are gone so they have a site that does not work for the moment. This is a HUGE problem as they are planning to do a huge mailing today …
Please help us out here.

Ok. I was able to do a workaround.
I forgot that some plugins were only active on subsite level. Before I only deactivated the plugins that were active on network level.
When I disabled plugins on subsite level I found out that it was the plugin “Really Simple SSL” that caused the problems …
Which is a bit strange because on other websites + on subsites in the same network that plugin is also active and there are never problems …
Either way: problem solved.
