    I have in my Enfold Theme settings like

    but somehow they are not applied – especially for the footer section or the heading section. The footer looks like:

    Since I should maintain the side I’m curious where to change the color-settings to have them properly applied. Could you please give me a hint?

    Hey kwanumzen,

    Please try the following first:
    – Clear your browser cache and refresh your browser a few times
    – Clear your WordPress cache either through your plugin or your server’s cache service (if available)

    If that doesn’t solve it, please give us admin access into your website so we can take a closer look. It’s best that we see all the settings and CSS.

    Hi Sarah,

    German or English?

    I’ve disabled all the plugins + made a hard refresh on but changes are still not applied. I’m running on localhost but have the site as well production wise enabled. On production site there are still most of the plugins available….

    How to grant admin access? I can create a new admin – but which mail-address & where to grant admin permissions? Are the credentials visible on this forum?
    Team viewer would work as well?
    I have a DB-export via WP-plugin Duplicator – approx. 63 mb…..

    Hi, Sarah,

    I’ve tested around little bit more and I’m honestly getting confused…. I find the color settings in a file called enfold.css which is stored in the path \wp-content\uploads\dynamic_avia\ There I have as well a file named enfold_en.css. I guess this file is retrieve or used from the WPML configuraiton – but I’m not really sure. If I rename the files than at least the settings from this file are gone – but some other settings are applied mystically despite the settings of the General Layout.

    Q: How to configure the settings of the style-sheet in the dynamic_avia folder?

    Hi,

    The enfold.css file in the dynamic_avia folder is the theme options stylesheet. This is where the general styling settings and the custom css modifications are stored. Please ignore it because it is going to be re-generated once you toggle the theme options. Make sure that the file and folder permissions are correct in accordance with the standard WP permission schemes.

    Hi everyone,

    I am having a similar problem with my styling. I have Enfold and WPML installed with 2 languages. English being the first and Greek as the second. I exported the English theme options and imported them to the Greek version.

    I have all my custom CSS in the default custom.css file under Appearance–>Editor–>custom.css. The reason I did this is because I want all my customizations to be applied to both languages without the need to toggle between English and Greek and pasting the same code in the respective languages’ Quick CSS. I believe this is the best way to do this to save some developer time.

    Problem is that while the English version was picking up the changes, the Greek version seemed to be stuck with the old CSS. This applied mostly to color tweaks. I tried to save the Enfold settings in Greek multiple times so the dynamic file could be generated anew but to no avail.

    I had to go to my server and overwrite the contents of the enfold_child_el.css with the contents of the enfold_child.css which was in the same folder (wp-content–>uploads–>dynamic_avia).

    Is there an easier solution to overcome this? Logging into the server and doing all this is not so developer friendly.

    P.S. I also noticed that Microsoft Edge cannot load the fonts for the Greek site. Please have a look on that too.

    Do you have a child theme? Please move the css codes in the child theme’s style.css file.

    Yes, I am using the child theme and the custom CSS is in pasted in the custom.css

    I am still having the same problem in my website.

    While my custom CSS is pasted in the Child Theme’s style.css file, my header in the secondary language doesn’t follow the styling.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

    You have to toggle the theme’s css/js compression in the Performance panel after adjusting the theme options. This will regenerate the scripts and stylesheets. We changed the socket background to something else for testing purposes.
