Hello kriesi support team,
i have purchased the enfold theme, i have installed and configurated that, but i have a problem.
On the Fullwidth easy slider i have set three images, but that images pixelated. How can i fixed it?
e.g. the first image (1) was uploaded on WordPress(press left click on mouse to make zoom) and see that image on homepage slider (2). Why the image pixelated?
Thank you

Thanks for the link and screenshot, though I can’t see anything obviously wrong with either one of them?

RikardJune 3, 2017 at 11:46 am #803353Hello Rikard,
they have a difference (pixelated) you can see clearly that on text (1). Compare the image (2) that uploaded on media (WordPress) and the first slider image (3), the first slider image has pixelated.
Thank you
June 4, 2017 at 3:17 pm #803605Hi sitywe,
In most cases, text on images is a bad idea. In this case, WordPress is processing images and compressing them, so this is what happens. Here is some more reading on the topic:

If you need further assistance please let us know.

VictoriaJune 5, 2017 at 1:22 pm #803875Hello Victoria,
i know to WordPress compression, but there isn’t the WordPress compression that created that pixelated.
The problem isn’t only the text but generally on image (like people on tablet display pixelarated). When i uploaded that image on WordPress and open that on media library the image display correct. See that link (1) and make zoom on that (left click mouse) and compare with the same image when i uploaded on Fullwidth Easy Slider (2) “first slider image”.
Finally, the problem focus on only when image uploaded on Fullwidth Easy Slider and not when uploaded on WordPress. Why pixelerated the image when uploaded on Fullwidth Easy Slider and display on screen?
Thank you.
June 5, 2017 at 5:50 pm #804067Hi,
Thanks for the links and screenshots, I still can’t see much of a difference though. I would agree with Victoria in this case, text in images are a bad idea. If you want the text to display properly then use html/css instead.

RikardJune 6, 2017 at 6:41 pm #804640Hello Rikard,
has a small difference betwwen two images (slider and media files), i don’t refer to the text, but to the image. You can see the difference if you open that image (1) on the browser and compare that with the first slider image(2). See the people on the tablet, on the slider looks pixelated ( don’t show that bright colors that has on the image (1)).
Thank you
June 9, 2017 at 9:17 am #805929Hi,
You can try add images as retina to fix that issue.
The problem is basicly based on the devices and not the images you upload.
If you try upload an image with retina display your issue will be fixed.Best regards,
BasilisJune 14, 2017 at 1:33 pm #807955Hello Basilis,
how could i do it? I don’t want to save the images on high resolution. Also, i have compress that images for reduced size.
I don’t understand why when i have uploaded the image and view that display perfect, but if i set that image on slider it has pixelerated.
That is the question.
The problem created when i set that image on slider.
Thank you.
June 15, 2017 at 5:11 pm #808623Hi sitywe,
The link to the image you gave and the image on the slider are the same file, the look pretty much the same. I don’t see any effect that you’re pointing to.

VictoriaJune 19, 2017 at 8:54 pm #809960Hi,
Could you please try uploading the image in bigger size? It is currently 1920x850px. You could try 2880x1275px
Best regards,
YigitJune 20, 2017 at 12:01 am #810045Hello Yigit,
I upload image on slider 4 with resolution 2880x1275px and it’s better than before, but not perfect. See that on link (1). The difference now you can see only on text.
If you don’t have any other solution to display perfect, i will used that solution for all images on slider.
Thank you very much for your help.
