Hi
I know this has been mentioned many times here. I have read a lot of suggestions, and tried:
1. Updating WP and theme
2. Deactivating all plugins
3. Overwriting theme filesSo far no luck. I cant edit any pages that already exist. It seems new posts and pages will load the layout editor, but existing ones will not.
Also when I try to make a new page with the advanced layout editor, I can do that. But when click save or publish I get 404 not found error.May 27, 2017 at 7:48 am #800492@rizpar this issue is related to your server setup. As mentioned in many threads more details are needed. Good point to start would be to show the php error log entries as the can tell what the problem is.
May 27, 2017 at 6:36 pm #800600Hi rizpar,
The issue has been reported and it is being studied by our developers. But if you have any logs with the error would be great if you could forward it to us.
Best regards,

May 30, 2017 at 3:28 am #801329I should add maybe that for 2 years it has worked OK. It just failed 2 months ago. Possibly of course something changed on the server.
May 30, 2017 at 5:28 am #801351Hi,
Could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?
Best regards,
RikardJune 3, 2017 at 2:14 pm #803380Dear Rickard
Thank you. Yes I have tried that several times, and clearing cache and overwriting theme files.June 5, 2017 at 4:53 am #803754Hi
I have an update. I think its connected, so I will post here if that is OK.
Now I get a 401 error on homepage suddenly, after it has always worked fine. If I go to Theme Options, I can see the homepage field is suddenly blank. So I tried to add the homepage again. When saving, I get error “saving didnt work. Please reload the page and try again”. I tried reloading, and clearing cache and logging back in, same error. This is in chrome. In IE I cannot even get to theme options. If I try the URL http://*******.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=avia, the browser redirects to /wp-admin. Again, it has always worked OK in IE before. None of the theme options links work in IE.
June 5, 2017 at 5:47 am #803761Hi Victoria
Do you know if the developers logged in to the admin backend and made any changes at all? Because the database seems to have changed and as above the homepage has changed.June 7, 2017 at 3:31 am #804796Hi,
There’s a lot of errors coming from the “etruel-del-post-copies” plugin and there are intermittent maximum execution time and memory limit issues. Please increase the max execution time to 120 seconds and the memory limit to at least 256M.

IsmaelJune 7, 2017 at 8:24 am #804901Hi Ismael
Thank you for your reply. That plugin was deactivated and uninstalled a few weeks ago, so maybe that is an old log? Anyway, it has been removed now.
I have tried to increase the memory limit and max time, but I am not sure if the settings in php.ini are being read on this server. I have set php.ini in the root to 512 and 400 seconds.
How can we check what php settings are being reported from this installation?June 9, 2017 at 9:52 am #805947Hi,
Can you contact your hosting provider to check if that is possible to be done from them please
to be sure we are able to work properly?Best regards,
BasilisJune 21, 2017 at 10:26 am #810882Hi guys
OK I have fixed it now. We updated to php version (7?) and then could change the resource limits in cpanel. And that did the trick. Php.ini was having no effect.June 21, 2017 at 11:58 am #810918 -
