    Hi! I’m writing here b/c I can’t figure out how to create a new support ticket, logged in.. I am wondering if there is a planned update to Angular theme in the works? I see reference to Angular 4.1 in support forum but do not see anything reflected on themeforest.. We are using Angular 2.3 but it doesn’t seem to have been updated in some time and compatible with wordpress 4.4 however we’re up to 4.7 now.. Please let me know!

    Hey sarah hay,

    4.1 is the latest version, could you try updating to that please? You can download the latest version from your Themeforest account.

    I have checked on Themeforest and I can only see evidence of 2.0.

    Am I missing something? When I download latest version, I get the same files I’ve had for at least a year.. themeforest-1415600-angular-responsive-portfolio

    Do I need to renew my support package in order to access latest version?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback, I think the changelog hasn’t been updated for Angular. If you download and open the theme it should be the latest version of the theme though. You can check that in version.txt in the download package.

    Great. Yes the folder I just downloaded contains version 4.1, April 2016. Do you have plans to update again this year? We have been using Angular for years and it’s wonderful but looking ahead to see if we need to anticipate switching to something we know is being kept up to day. Our site was hacked last year so it’s crucial that we keep our theme and plug-ins up to date, according to our IT guy.

    Is there a better way to be kept up to date on theme updates in general? It shouldn’t be this difficult to go searching!

    Hi Sarah,

    Angular is one of our older themes and we only do small maintenance changes to it to keep it compatible with newer versions of WordPress. If you want a more modern and well maintained theme then I would recommend that you have a look at Enfold, which is by far our most popular and flexible theme.
