Hello
Perhaps I’m looking too closely and missing something obvious. I have a page (in private) that is set to ‘no transparency’ but the fullwidth slider below is clearly being positioned as if the page has a transparent header. I copied a bunch of custom css from another project assuming I might make the pages use a transparent header but think that it’s best without. With that said, maybe I’m missing something in my css that is creating this weird behaviour? I had done extensive styling on menu items, specific to transparency and it’s also showing those, which I don’t want. Please advise and thank you.May 24, 2017 at 12:46 am #798638Hey webWahine,
Do you have any plugins that could be causing a styling conflict?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 24, 2017 at 6:19 pm #799062I’m using iThemes security, a simple password protected and a scalable vector graphics plugin, all of which I’ve used with Enfold before. It seems like this is with the latest release of Enfold?

Have you tried to deactivate iThemes to see if it fixes the issue?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 24, 2017 at 9:07 pm #799150I’ve just installed enfold on another brand new test page and they both have iThemes and the is no issue with the pages on the latest site so it must be something else? :)
May 24, 2017 at 9:22 pm #799168Hi,
So on the latest site, it is not showing as transparent?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 24, 2017 at 9:26 pm #799179Yes, it’s home page is also set to ‘no transparency’ just like the one that isn’t working, and it’s fine (see private).
May 24, 2017 at 9:40 pm #799193Hi,
Apologies, but I am not understanding the issue. Can you please try and explain it clearer. I’m viewing your original page link, but I don’t see any transparency.
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 24, 2017 at 9:45 pm #799195Sorry I’m not being clear :) The site with the issue is KGH, ie, with the slider – what’s happening is the slider is underneath the logo and header area as if it was set to have a transparent header, but the page is set to no transparency. So instead of centered captions it looks too low but in fact the top portion of the slider is under the header. For BWC the slider sits under the header as it should with the test slider I have there.
May 24, 2017 at 10:27 pm #799219Hi,
So you want KGH to match BWC?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 24, 2017 at 10:33 pm #799221Yes, and the one difference is KGH is sticky and BWC is not – perhaps that is causing the issue? Regardless, shouldn’t I be able to see the whole slider even if the header is sticky?
May 25, 2017 at 1:08 am #799280Hi,
I am still not understanding this, both pages look and operate the same to me. I will have one of my teammates look into this further.
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 25, 2017 at 1:13 am #799286I’m sorry, a colleague change the header to non sticky so now they are the same. I guess basically what I need to do is if i want a sticky header then the easiest thing would be to add in a whitespace above the slider so it doesn’t get placed underneath. Unless there is a better option at least that will work :)
