    Hello,

    I want visitors to open a bootstrap modal contact form (created with Toolset CRED) while looking at a post (like explained at https://coolestguidesontheplanet.com/bootstrap/modal.php).
    The modal form displays correctly under Twenty Seventeen but does not behave correctly with Enfold; css seems indeed to be mixed up, resulting in wrong z-index, wrong colors and alignments and no scroll.
    Any hint on why?

    Hi,

    Every theme is different and Enfold is more advanced compared to most other themes which is also increasing the chance of compatibility issues like these unfortunately. Is there perhaps a modal plugin that would be able to meet your functionality needs?

    Ok, fair enough. I have then tried to use a more ‘Enfold’ solution as proposed in this ticket: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/contact-form-in-pop-up-prettyphoto-issue/#post-304173 and…it works perfectly!

    I just forgot to adapt the css as explained in the post; now it works perfectly!

    Perhaps just one last question about the difference between using buttons and links:
    When I use the link code <a class="open-popup-link" href="#test-popup">Show inline popup</a>
    the popup opens but when I try to use a button: <a href="#test-popup"><button type="button" class="btn btn-info btn-lg">Posez une question</button></a>, nothing happens.
    Still, hoovering with the mouse on both gives the same url;
    I’m a bit t a loss here.

    Ok, got it, the button code should be <a class="open-popup-link" href="#test-popup"><button type="button" class="btn btn-info btn-lg">Posez une question</button></a>
