    Dear Enfold team,

    I’m very happy and satisfied with the enfold theme. Took me a few days to change my website to ur theme but now I’m very happy. I do still have 2 issues regarding the blog and would highly appreciate your advice:

    Blog posts:
    When I choose to show the blog posts I have an issue that for one post the respective excerpts doesn’t show up in this 3 column layout: Link. How can I fix this?

    Blog layout:
    My current blog layout is posted in this link. Is it possibly to get a blog listing layout like in this theme here? I would like to have a thumbnail on the left and the titel, meta data and excerpts on the right. Is that possible?

    Hey buyakascha,
    For your excerpts, it looks like two are showing, but not the middle one. I’m not sure why without looking at the backend, but you can take better control of your excerpts by looking in the drop down at the top of your posts screen “Screen Options” and checking the Excerpts box, which will give you a text area below your post area.
    For your blog Layout, sorry that is not one of our 7 choices.

    Thanks for your advice. I checked the excerpts “screen options” and it shows up correctly. I noticed, that for the blog entry without the excerpt showing up I used the Avia architect layout. For the other two ones I used only wordpress standard editor.

    Can you help me on this one? I need a masonry gallery so I used the avia architect layout editor instead of the standard one.

    Hi,

    When using the Layout Builder for posts the you will have to add the except manually, did you try that out to see if it works?

    Hi,
    I have tested and found that the Excerpts box works, this is down below the post on the edit page, please try using it as it gives you greater control to what shows for your excerpts, It does not have to be the first few words, it can be something more interesting to appeal to the reader.
